WHAT IS 2ND LIVE?
2ND LIVE aims to explore the potential of live performance in the Second Life® environment, the 3D online digital world imagined and created by its 14 million plus residents.
The first, extended 2ND LIVE project is Phoenix Scratch (June 2007 - December 2008). It comprises four new commissioned works, a series of events with open-calls for artists to try out new performance experiments, and a symposium in autumn 2008. Phoenix Scratch is hosted by Exeter Phoenix and supported by Arts Council England (Lottery Funded).
The first commissioned work, Third Life by Richard Dedomenici, was realised in October 2007. Click here for more details.
