Drifter Rhode is the 2ND LIVE curator and producer, and the Second Life® avatar of artist-academic-curator Stephen Hodge.

Stephen is a Senior Lecturer and member of the Centre for Intermedia at the University of Exeter (UK), and a core member of Wrights & Sites, a group of artist-researchers with a special relationship to site, city/landscape and walking.

He is a member of the UK's New Theatre Architects, a board member of New Work Network and the curator of Theatre, Dance & Live Art at Exeter Phoenix.

DeDome Nishi is the Second Life avatar of Richard Dedomenici.

Richard is an artist based within the M25. He is currently seeking to update his artistic statement, which describes him as:

'a one-man subversive think-tank primarily dedicated to the development and implementation of innovative strategies designed to undermine accepted belief systems and topple existing power structures. By approaching the limits of conventionally acceptable behaviour, Richard Dedomenici's poetic acts of low-grade civil disobedience forcibly ask pertinent questions of society, while his subtle anarcho-surrealist interventions create the kind of uncertainty that leads to possibility.'

Pipsi Bracken is the Second Life avatar of Niki McCretton.

Niki is known for creating accessible cross-art form performances. Recent work includes Relative (a co-production with digital artist Kathy Hinde) which explored the relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren, and Space 50, a piece she made to celebrate half a century of space travel.

Suz Skinstad is the Second Life avatar of Susan Sloan.

Adam & Susan, animators from the National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA) at Bournemouth University, are collaborating with Niki McCretton, creating SL animations from material gathered in the NCCA motion capture suite.

Keystone Bouchard is the Second Life avatar of Jon Brouchoud.

Jon Brouchoud is a freelance virtual architect and founder of Crescendo Design, a studio specialized in creating innovative, cost effective architecture and strategies for virtual reality platforms such as Second Life and OpenSIM.

Jon’s work as an evangelist for virtual architecture has focused on the convergence of architecture, virtual worlds and augmented reality. He has collaborated on a wide range of virtual reality projects, including the U.S. House of Representatives, Autodesk Island and Linden Lab Headquarters.

He is founder of Architecture Islands, an incubator for architects and designers in virtual worlds, and also leads the Architecture in Second Life community group. He is co-founder of Studio Wikitecture, a Web 2.0 based architectural collaboration methodology.

Jessica Curry is a composer and sound artist who has exhibited internationally. Her work includes multimedia installations, public art and music for games and virtual spaces.

Dan Pinchbeck is a researcher specialising in game content and new forms of storytelling, based at the University of Portsmouth, UK.
